With Rotorua only a 45-minute drive from Tauranga via SH36, Agroventures is the perfect place for your first stop on your Rotorua day excursion! Rental cars are readily available from the dock where you disembark as are tour operators that can bring you to Agroventures or alternatively contact Grumpy’s Limo Service for a range of transport options.

Raft and Agroventures Package

The Kaituna River boasts the Highest Commercially Rafted Waterfall (7m) in the World. Fast and furious, this river has 3 waterfalls among the 14 rapids; two smaller waterfalls to practise on before attacking the 7-meter drop named Tutea Falls. There is an age limit of 13 years and must fit safety equipment. We provide wetsuits, fleeces, booties, buoyancy aids, and helmets. Guests just need to bring along a swimsuit and towel.

Following your rafting experience head to Agroventures and pick any two of the following: Agrojet, Swoop, Shweeb or Freefall Xtreme.

Total Cost including transport for 2 persons: NZ$465.00 per person
Total Cost including transport for 4 or more persons: NZ$325.00 per person

Timeframe: Allow a minimum of 5 hours including return transfers

Agropass

This includes pre-paid entry into the world famous Agrodome sheep show and your choice of any two activities out of the following: Agrojet, Swoop, Freefall Xtreme or Shweeb. This package gives you the flexibility to select what activities you want to do on the day of visit and your choice of any three of the daily sheep shows. 9.30am, 11.00am and 2.30pm daily.
