Agroventures May - June Update!!

Rotorua Bungy Gains Enviro-Silver

Rotorua Bungy has gained a Qualmark Enviro-Silver Award, recognising its high standards in environmental practices. To earn New Zealand tourism’s official environmental award, Rotorua Bungy had to show effectiveness in energy efficiency, waste management and water conservation, with community activities and conservation initiatives also considered under Qualmark’s environmental criteria.

Along with the planting and re-beautifying programmes,Rotorua Bungy has been a member of the Sustainable Charter for the past 6 years here in Rotorua and work closely with Eldad Collins, Sustainability Assessor for Rotorua Sustainable Tourism Charter to continue to monitor and reduce our environmental impact.

Rotorua Bungy are very pleased and proud to be amongst the few Adventure Operators to have achieved the Enviro-Silver Award.This award is a result of the efforts of the staff that put a great deal of energy and time into the initiatives that the Company has implemented.

Festival Of Speed

On the 10th and 11th of April the Festival of Speed was held up in Whitianga, Jason Trask took the Agrojet up to see what all the fuss was about!! If it flies....floats....or turns wheels and heads, you were bound to come across it at The Festival of Speed. The weekend was a huge success with Jason managing to get Tamati Coffey to pull of a perfect Hamilton Jet spin live on the Breakfast show!!

Agroventures / Agrodome hosts Tonkin and Taylor

On 15th of May Agroventures was invaded by Tonkin and Taylor, who set about conquering their team building challenges!! Each team had to complete - Swoop, Bungy, Freefall Xtreme, Shweeb, Agrojet, Swamp Crossing, Electric Fence Challenge and the Human Sheep Dog Trial!! Although it poured.....actually....bucketed down with rain the entire afternoon, an awesome time was had by all. Check out the pics below...

The Agroventures Girls go Quad Biking with Quadzone!!

Ever wanted to plow through mud puddles and skid around corners as fast as you can?? Quadzone will definitely let you experience this!! Jody and Megan decided this sounded like a great idea and were hosted by Brent and Tracey..........for er .......an extremely muddy experience!!. The girls thouroghly enjoyed themselves as you can see from the pictures below... you should all give it a go sometime soon!
